Asics Gel-NYC combines characteristics of traditional and modern running shoes in one sneaker. The upper is inspired by the Gel-Nimbus 3 of the 2000s, the embellishments are borrowed from the Gel-MC-Plus V and the midsole system is reminiscent of the Gel-Cumulus 16. The upper is made of purple leather and synthetics and contrasts with the gray mesh and rubber accents.
